Lotto Ledger
Lotto Ledger

We built the honest one.

Every lottery app sells the dream of winning. Lotto Ledger sells the one thing nobody else will show you: what your play has actually cost, and what it has actually paid back. It tracks Mega Millions and Powerball, the two multi-state national drawings, graded against the official published numbers. State games are coming.

Why it exists:

Most people who play the lottery regularly, Powerball and Mega Millions above all, remember their wins and forget their spend. They do so not because they are careless, but rather because they do not have a tool that enables them to keep score. Their tickets live in a wallet or in a drawer until the draw; and, then, they check their tickets against a live result on a website, and throw away such ticket if it did not win. The arithmetic never gets done, not even for tax purposes, where a record of winnings and losses is what the IRS asks for.

Lotto Ledger does the arithmetic. It keeps every ticket you play, pulls the winning numbers in automatically after each drawing, grades everything against the game's published prize rules, and puts the running total in front of you. Some days that number is a pleasant surprise. Most days it is not. Both are worth knowing.

We take the accounting seriously enough to be pedantic about it. For instance, matching only the Powerball pays $4 on a $2 play, so the app counts a win and also counts every losing play that week against it. That is why your win rate and your net result can tell two different stories. Both of them are true.

What it does:

Enter once, covered all week

Give it your lines, your wager, and which drawings you play. Lotto Ledger creates a ticket for every drawing and grades each one — five lines over seven days is seventy tickets from a single entry.

Check any ticket in seconds

Type a Mega Millions or Powerball line, with its Mega Ball or Powerball, and get an instant verdict against the official numbers, with the prize tier and estimated payout.

Never miss a drawing

Ticket sales close shortly before every drawing. Pro members can turn on reminders: we email you at 4:00 pm Eastern on each drawing day and tell you whether you already have tickets in that drawing.

The number nobody shows you

Total spent, total won, net result, win rate — by game and by date range. This is the part most lottery apps leave out, and the reason this one is called a ledger.

Quick Pick Generator

Need a line? The Quick Pick Generator draws random numbers for the games you track, ready to copy. A generated line is exactly as likely to win as any other; every drawing is random.

The User's Guide

Everything the app does, in plain English — setup, the pages, play types, reminders, and the small print. Simple. It’s three pages within one HTML file.

Straight answers:

Does record-keeping improve my odds to win?

No. Nothing does; every drawing is random. What a record does is show you plainly what your play costs and what it returns, so you can decide how much to spend.

Where do the numbers come from?

From the winning numbers the lotteries publish after each Mega Millions and Powerball drawing, pulled in automatically.

Are the payouts exact?

They are estimates, and the app labels them as such. Some prize amounts vary from state to state and draw to draw. Always confirm with the lottery that ran the drawing before claiming.

Are you connected to any lottery?

No. Lotto Ledger is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Multi-State Lottery Association, Mega Millions, Powerball, or any state lottery.

What does it cost?

The number checker is free forever, along with one active play schedule. Pro is US$4.99 a month or US$45.00 a year for unlimited schedules, win alerts, draw reminders, the full dashboard, and export — a beta cohort rate held until December 31, 2026. New members joining after that date pay US$9.99 a month or US$75.00 a year. If you join during the beta, your rate does not change: it is yours for as long as your subscription stays active.

Your state’s own games

Powerball and Mega Millions are national drawings, so Lotto Ledger works wherever they are sold, on any plan, including the free one. The ledger, meaning the tracking of wins against spending and the itemization of gains and losses, works the same way in every state.

Each state’s own games are a different matter: every lottery publishes its results in its own format, on its own schedule, with its own prize rules. We are building them one state at a time. Statewide will be US$99.00 per year, either added to Pro or on its own without Mega Millions and Powerball. Nothing is charged until your state is live; join the free waitlist below and we will tell you when it is.

Lotto Ledger is an independent record-keeping tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL), Mega Millions, Powerball, or any state lottery. Mega Millions and Powerball are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to identify the games. Lotto Ledger does not predict results and does nothing to change your odds; every drawing is random. You must be 18 or older to play (21 in some states). Payouts shown are estimates; confirm every prize with the lottery that ran the drawing.
